Scholarships award for DTI and Egerton Staff
Getting free money for one’s education is nothing short of a blessing, moreso if you are of an advanced age.
The Dairy Train scholarship has given 7staffs from both EGU and DTI to study in a cost effective manner.
Two of the staffs are undertaking an undergraduate degree while 5 of them are taking post graduate degree in both Agricultural Economics and Agribussiness.
The cost of education has risen manifold over the past few years, kicking it out of reach of families with low income.
Passionate about their education, the staffs admitted that it would not have been the same without the generosity expressed to them by the programme, bearing in mind of their advanced age plus the responsibilities that come along with parenthood.
